International City Dubai - Area Guide

Previous
Next

Developed by the developer Nakheel in 2002, International City is comprised of low-rise clusters of apartment buildings with a country-themed aesthetic. Residents enjoy the benefits of gated community living without the high rents. Located near the Al Awir Road, the International City enjoys lower rents than its neighbour Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The International City is one of the most desirable areas in Dubai and for good reason. Its affordable housing and interesting development have made it a popular place to live.

For a convenient way to get around, there is an RTA bus service between the International City, Greece 1, and Dubai Festival City, Marks & Spencer 2. The trip takes about 27 minutes and costs between $1 and $2. If you plan to go by car, the Dubai RTA bus also runs between the International City, Marks & Spencer 2, and Motor City.

For those traveling by car, the First Abu Dhabi Bank Metro station is about eight minutes’ drive away. Access to major roads like Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, and Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road is convenient as well.
