What is inside the ultra-luxury resort?

Soaring over the Arabian Sea and The Palm and spanned over 63 hectares, the 43-storey hotel and resort is a cluster of six towers and features795 rooms and suites. These high-rise towers are connected with each other by a 90-metre long Skypool located on the 22nd floor.

And the entertainment facilities do not end here because it flaunts countless new and exciting hospitality venues and not less than 90 swimming pools. Dramatic water features are another mesmerizing design attribute of this project, followed by vertical gardens and an expansive sky bridge.

Adjacent to Pan-Asian, day to night venue Ling Ling will be there to entice all the party-goers in the town, which will be complemented with a culturally rich, multi-sensory, dining and after-hours party experience.

Bars, cafe and restaurants

There will be 17 restaurants including the Middle East’s first Dinner by Heston Blumenthal from the British chef – Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan and Ariana’s Persian Kitchen by the Iranian-American celebrity TV chef and cookbook author Ariana Bundy. You can also find signature restaurants from culinary artists including Gaston Acurio, Costas Spiliadis and Jose Andres. Nobu is also set to open their first-ever pool and beach club.

The outdoor entertainment experience is profound and called Cloud 22. It features VIP cabanas with private plunge pools, a swim-up bar and a glittering head-shaped DJ booth.

“We were asked to dream big on this project. To create something unique and iconic for Dubai — and when I look at it now, I’m amazed by the audacity of the whole undertaking,” says James von Klemperer, president and design principal of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the architecture firm behind the hotel.

Suites, rooms and penthouses

44 suites and Signature penthouses are the crowning glory of the hotel, each of which comes with its own infinity pool. All the rooms have been designed to elicit awe, finished with a contemporary style while focusing on every single detail including a chic walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms and hand-stitched mattresses by Hypnos and bespoke amenities exclusively designed by Hermès, Graff and Frette for Atlantis – The Royal.

Moreover, endless options are on cards to make the stay more personalized such as privatizing the entire floors. The hotel is digitally optimized throughout, allowing the guests to control their rooms temperatures, television and other amenities with a touch.

To make the stay most premium, a butler service is also offered in the suites and Signature penthouses. Other luxury services also include unpacking luggage, clothes pressing, a private resort orientation and enjoying exclusive experiences. The hotel will also be crammed with spectacular features such as a the largest jellyfish aquarium in the world at 6.5 meters high, home to 4,000 moon jellies.

“Skyblaze”, a water fountain and show that breathes fire, is a series of dramatic water features and also the first one for the Middle East. The 28-metre-high feature combines water, fire bursts, lights and performing music. 2022 ended on a strong note for Dubai real estate with Palm Jumeirah in higher demand and opening of this resort will add more to its charm and also to the prices of the luxury properties for sale in Palm Jumeirah.

Our moment is finally here to reveal Atlantis the Royal as the world’s most ultra-luxury entertainment resort. “Openings of resorts like this one only come around once or twice in a decade, and we can’t wait to share it with the world. As these new images demonstrate, this is a resort like no other and the building itself will become an instantly recognisable icon of the Dubai skyline.”

Is Atlantis – The Royal open?

And the answer is: not yet.

Atlantis – The Royal is scheduled to open on February 10, 2023. Though the hotel management is yet to officially announce an opening date but according to hotel’s website, the hotel is open for online reservations for stays from February 10.

Grand reveal party held for Atlantis – The Royal

When it comes to Dubai, everything is spectacular, everything is magical and everything is grand. Therefore, when it comes to an event related to Dubai real estate, how it can be anything less than the highest-standards set in the market previously.

This weekend, January 20 to January 22, the much-anticipated Atlantis The Royal held its magnificent reveal party on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah. According to property agents in Dubai, this was an invite-only mega event featuring A-list celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Jay-Z, Amir Khan, along with dignitaries, media representatives and VIP guests in attendance.

Several other celebrities were also present at the five-star property including British TV stars Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan, Rochelle and Marvin Humes, celebrity chef Isaac Carew, Storm and Ronan Keating and local influencers such as Real Housewives of Dubai personality Chanel Ayan.

Beyonce performed live for the first time in four years, which was the major highlight of the show thus, making international headlines.

There will also be a performance from DJ’s Swedish House Mafia, a showstopping fireworks display and dinners at restaurants of Atlantis The Royal.
