The proposal for the Madinat Jumeirah project was developed by Jumeirah International. In 2000, work began on the site, and by 2003, the Mina A’Salam hotel welcomed its first guests. The designers have employed a sandy color palette for the furnishings and fixtures to create the illusion of an ancient Arabian city in the middle of a desert oasis. The design of Madinat Jumeirah Living was inspired by the resort of the same name, which in turn was inspired by Dubai’s rich cultural history.
Madinat Jumeirah, as one of the most illustrious projects in Dubai, is not to be overlooked. Madinat Jumeirah Living, a brand-new residential development, is located in this bustling mixed-use site beside five-star hotels and award-winning restaurants consisting of amazing properties for sale. There are more than 25 eateries and shops to peruse in the traditional Arabian market, making it a must-see for any tourist in Dubai. After the sun goes down, the Souk Madinat Jumeirah is perfect for a stroll with the view of luxurious properties for sale in Madinat Jumeirah.
Many of Dubai’s best Arabic eateries can be found in the Souk Madinat Jumeirah. At Al Makan, diners can watch how grilled kebabs and other dishes typical of Arabic and Arabian cuisine are cooked right just in front of visitors. Shimmers, a casual beachside eatery with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, is another local favorite in Madinat Jumeirah. Guests visit this restaurant because the food is excellent and the ambiance is warm and welcoming.
Set between lush landscapes and wadis, wind towers, and broad shaded pathways, Madinat Jumeirah Living is a collection of freehold properties for sale in the Madinat Jumeirah region opposite the Burj Al Arab. The apartments include fresh contemporary furnishings and wonderfully furnished lobby areas.
The 3.85 million square foot complex in Madinat Jumeirah is pedestrian-centric and environmentally sustainable, with residential clusters and calm open spaces connected by a network of paths.
Facilities include a community center, retail, concierge services, play areas, parks, open spaces, fitness centers, swimming pools, ample basement parking for residents, designated visitor parking, daycare centers, a direct air-conditioned footbridge connected to Madinat Jumeirah Resort, kilometers of shaded walkways, jogging and cycling paths, and a private beach.
Located southwest of the Burj Al-Arab hotel, Jumeirah Beach, and Wild Wadi Water Park, Madinat Jumeirah is a lovely region along the coast of Jumeirah that translates to “Jumeirah City” due to the incredible diversity of its offerings. Three five-star hotels, two villa complexes, the Souk Madinat market, and more than 50 restaurants and bars have all found a home in the Madinat Jumeirah Complex, which spans 40 hectares. The Madinat Arena is an outdoor amphitheater, while the Madinat Theatre is a spectacular banquet and meeting facility. There are five tennis courts, the Talise Spa, a climbing wall, and a beach within this city.
The company Jumeirah International is responsible for the conception of the project. As early as 2000, construction on the Madinat Jumeirah Complex began, and by 2003, the first hotel, Mina A’Salam, was open for business. Furniture and fixtures were designed with a sand color scheme to evoke an Old Arabian town amid an oasis. Travelers can ride in traditional abra boats along a waterway that spans 5 kilometers through the attraction. The master plan calls for a pedestrian-friendly environment to foster a feeling of a safe and welcoming neighborhood. From the Mall of the Emirates metro stop, take bus 81 or a cab for the short ride of 5 minutes to your destination. Twenty-five minutes will get you to Dubai International Airport (DXB), while forty will get you to Al Maktoum Airport (DWC).
